Damask (maincrop)

A beautiful red skinned variety bred in Northern Ireland. It’s a very high yielding potato with bright red skin and creamy yellow flesh with a high dry matter content making a wonderful tasting potato. Damask has a high resistance to virus and diseases and stores very well throughout the winter. It’s ideal for roasting, steaming, boiling and mashing.

Plant outdoors in mid April and harvest late September to October. These will store until March/April the following year.

Spacing: 30cm in drill (drills widely spaced so you can earth up – around 75cm).
